The Black Stars coaching staff have arrived at the Accra Sports Stadium as Ghana steps up preparations for the 2027 Pamoja Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against The Gambia.
Head coach Carlos Queiroz and members of his technical team were at the venue ahead of today’s training session as the squad continues to fine tune its preparations for the important Group C encounter.
Queiroz was seen engaging Brandon Thomas Asante in a brief conversation before the start of the session. The Black Stars coach spoke to the forward for several minutes as the team gradually assembled on the pitch.
The interaction came as the technical team prepares to put the players through their paces, with attention expected to be placed on tactical organisation and the approach for the upcoming qualifier.
Thomas Asante is among the players expected to play a role in Ghana’s attacking setup as Queiroz assesses his options ahead of the encounter. The coach will also be looking to build greater understanding among the players during the training sessions.
The Black Stars have been working towards securing a positive result against The Gambia as they continue their campaign in the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
With the match approaching, the technical team is expected to use the remaining sessions to sharpen the squad’s tactical approach while ensuring the players are physically and mentally ready for the challenge.
