Morocco have cancelled their previously announced international friendly against Ghana, which was scheduled to take place on October 4 in Tangier.
The fixture had been expected to provide the Black Stars with another opportunity to test themselves against one of Africa’s leading sides following their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying commitments.
However, the planned encounter will no longer go ahead, with Morocco cancelling the friendly that had been announced for the two nations.
The cancellation means Ghana will have to revise its plans for the October international window and potentially seek alternative opposition for the date.
The Black Stars, under head coach Carlos Queiroz, had been expected to use the Morocco fixture as part of preparations for the team’s longer-term rebuilding process.
