The Marseille prosecutor’s office requested three months in prison and a three-year stadium ban against two Lyon supporters tried in particular for Nazi salutes and racist cries before the OM-OL match.
The two defendants, aged 33 and 35, are accused of having performed a fascist salute against Marseille supporters in the stands, uttering racist cries and of having brandished a banned flag.
The decision was reserved until March 12.
These incidents in the stands were only part of the excesses which led to the postponement of the Olympico, which was finally replayed on December 6 (3-0 victory for OM).
In mid-December, a Lyon supporter had already been sentenced to six months in prison by the Marseille criminal court for violence and insults against CRS.
