Tony Baffoe Leaves Door Open to Future GFA Presidential Bid

Former Ghana international Tony Baffoe has left the door open to a possible future bid for the Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidency, admitting that while the position is not currently on his agenda, his stance could change with time.

Baffoe, who enjoyed a distinguished career as a footballer and has remained involved in football administration, was cautious when discussing the possibility of succeeding Kurt Okraku as GFA president.

“For now, I don’t see myself there, but you never know tomorrow,” he said, suggesting that he is not ruling out the possibility entirely.

The former Black Stars defender stressed that becoming GFA president is not something that currently drives him, although he acknowledged that his perspective could change over the coming months.

Baffoe indicated that the next six, 12 or 24 months could bring a different outlook, leaving open the possibility of a future leadership role in Ghanaian football. For now, however, he remains noncommittal about any presidential ambitions.
