The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Executive Committee will meet virtually this Thursday at 14:00 GMT to discuss preparations for upcoming African football events. Under the leadership of CAF president Patrice Motsepe, members will review key organizational priorities as the confederation approaches a busy end to 2026.
The agenda includes preparations for CAF’s Ordinary General Assembly, which will take place in Nigeria on November 21, and the CAF Super Cup, which South Africa will host on November 8. Committee members will also discuss the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations in Senegal and the CAF Awards ceremony, which Lagos, Nigeria, will stage on December 7.
The Executive Committee will also examine the bidding process for future Africa Cup of Nations finals and address other pressing matters affecting African football. These discussions will help CAF coordinate its preparations for upcoming continental competitions and major events before the end of the year.
