Edmund Ackah Threatens to Resign if Samartex Engages in Match Fixing

FC Samartex 1996 General Manager Edmund Ackah has vowed to resign from the club if the Ghana Premier League side engages in any illegal activities or match fixing.

Ackah stressed his commitment to integrity in football, insisting he would not remain in his position if the club became involved in any form of wrongdoing.

“I will resign from FC Samartex if the club engages in anything illegal or match fixing,” he declared.

The Samartex General Manager also expressed concerns about the limited television coverage of the club’s matches, questioning suggestions that their location and distance were responsible for the situation.

“I have heard that our games are not televised because of our location and the distance, but that is not fair,” Ackah added.

His comments highlight the need for greater transparency and fair media coverage for clubs competing in the Ghana Premier League, regardless of their geographical location.
