Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Warri Wolves have declared midfielder Ezegbu Divine Justice absent without official leave (AWOL) following his unexplained absence from the club’s camp for three weeks.
The club made this known in an official statement, expressing concern over the player’s failure to report to camp or communicate with the management during the period.
According to Warri Wolves, Ezegbu has been away from the team’s camp for the past three weeks without obtaining permission from the club or providing any official explanation for his absence.
The club further disclosed that his whereabouts remain unknown as of the time of the announcement.
Warri Wolves have consequently called on the player to immediately report to the club’s management and provide an explanation for his unauthorised absence.
The management also appealed to members of the public and anyone with credible information about the player’s whereabouts to contact the club through its official communication channels.
The development comes as Warri Wolves continue their campaign in the NPFL, with the club yet to disclose whether disciplinary action will be taken against the player.
