However, their breakup has sparked numerous rumors in the media, with some suggesting that infidelity was involved. Frustrated by these claims, the German international decided to break his silence and firmly deny the allegations.

Taking to Instagram, Ter Stegen directly called out Catalunya Radio & Grupo 3Cat for spreading what he described as false and harmful information. He also named journalists Juliana Canet, Roger Carandell, and Marta Montaner, accusing them of lying and unjustly tarnishing Daniela’s reputation. “There was no infidelity on Daniela’s part. There are no third parties involved. It is a fact,” he wrote.

He further condemned the public media for what he called an “unacceptable” attack on his ex-wife, insisting that their separation was amicable and based on mutual trust.
