Bibiani Goldstars head coach, Frimpong Manso, has made it clear that his side is eyeing the ultimate prize — the Ghana Premier League title. As the season heads into its critical final stretch, Manso has emphasized that the title race is far from a two-horse affair.
In a recent interview, the experienced tactician dismissed the growing narrative that the battle for the league crown is solely between Goldstars and Asante Kotoko. Instead, he pointed to Nations FC as another serious contender.
“The Ghana Premier League title race is not between Kotoko and Goldstars,” Manso said. “As we speak, Nations FC is a title contender. We want to win the league title and that is the objective now, but it depends on how we approach the remaining matches.”
Goldstars have been one of the surprise packages this season, turning heads with consistent performances and showing real grit on the road. With few games still to play, Manso knows that composure, focus, and tactical discipline will be key if they are to outlast their challengers.
While fans and pundits continue to debate the frontrunners, the message from Bibiani is clear: Goldstars are not just participating — they’re pushing for glory.
The title race is wide open, and with every point now crucial, the next few matchdays promise intense drama, fierce battles, and possibly, a new name etched into Ghanaian football history.
