The Kenya U20 national team has landed in Cairo, Egypt, ahead of their Group Stage matches at the U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025.
The Rising Stars are set to face Nigeria on May 1 at 6:00 PM, Morocco on May 4 at 9:00 PM, and Tunisia on May 7 at 6:00 PM. All fixtures will be played at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo.
To advance to the quarter-finals, Kenya must finish in the top two of their group or rank among the two best third-placed teams across all three groups. The top four teams of the tournament will qualify for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.
While Kenya have been placed in Group B, the CECAFA U-20 reigning champions Tanzania have been placed in Group A which will have five teams including hosts Egypt, Zambia, Sierra Leone and South Africa.
The defending champions Senegal are placed in Group C alongside Central African Republic, DR Congo and Ghana who have lifted the trophy a record four times. Nigeria and Egypt have also lifted the U-20 African title three times apiece.
The four semi-finalists will qualify as the CAF representatives for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup to take place in Chile.

Group B: Nigeria, Tunisia, Kenya, Morocco
Group C: Senegal, Central African Republic, DR Congo, Ghana
