Red Arrows dug deep under the smokes of Mufulira Copper Refinery adjacent to Shinde Stadium to hold Mufulira Wanderers to a hard fought 0-0 draw in a Week 33 contest drenched in tension but starved of cutting edge.
The opening exchanges offered little for the forwards as both sides cancelled each other out in midfield and turned the first 15 minutes into a tactical chess match with goalkeepers left largely unemployed.
In the 21st minute, Wanderers briefly lifted the tempo when John Foloko cut inside and unleashed a shot from range but the effort drifted harmlessly away as the deadlock persisted.
