BUL has confirmed that ten players are to leave the club following an abysmal campaign.

The ten include long time servants Jerome Kirya and Nicholas Mwere alongside club’s main forwards Karim Ndugwa and Isaac Wagoina.

“This decision is part of our long-term vision to refresh the squad, invest in emerging talent from our development structures, and build a team ready to compete at the highest level in the Uganda Premier League,” read part of the statement on the club website.

Others are Ibrahim Orit, defenders Fredrick Ngalo, veteran Bakali Magumda, Thomas Ochungo and former Wakiso Giants forward Viane Ssekajugo.

“To every player leaving us: thank you for your service, commitment, and contribution to the Eastern Giants. You will always be part of the BUL FC family. We wish you every success in the next step of your careers.

“The work to strengthen our squad for the season ahead has already begun. We will communicate new arrivals and retained players in due course.”

BUL ended last season outside of the top eight in 9th position with 37 points and was eliminated from the Stanbic Uganda Cup by SC Villa at the round of 32.
