2026: FIFA World Cup: Senegal Vs Belgium Confirmed Line Up

Senegal have made a number of changes to their starting XI ahead of their FIFA World Cup Round of 32 clash with Belgium, with midfielder Pape Gueye replacing Lamine Camara in the lineup.

Gueye, who scored twice in Senegal’s commanding 5-0 victory over Iraq during the group stage, earns a starting role as the African side looks to book a place in the next round.

Pathe Ciss also comes into the team, taking the place of defender Abdoulaye Seck, while Iliman Ndiaye starts alongside Ismaila Sarr and Sadio Mane in attack.

Ibrahim Mbaye begins the match among the substitutes, and captain Kalidou Koulibaly is not included in the starting XI.

Belgium, meanwhile, have opted to keep faith with the same team that produced an impressive 5-1 victory over New Zealand in their previous outing.

Belgium Starting XI:

Thibaut Courtois; Timothy Castagne, Arthur Theate, Brandon Mechele, Maxim De Cuyper; Kevin De Bruyne, Youri Tielemans, Hans Vanaken; Leandro Trossard, Jeremy Doku, Charles De Ketelaere.

Senegal Starting XI:

Mory Diaw; Krepin Diatta, Moussa Niakhate, Pathe Ciss, Ismail Jakobs; Idrissa Gana Gueye, Pape Gueye, Habib Diarra; Iliman Ndiaye, Ismaila Sarr, Sadio Mane.
