Tanzania Premier League champions Young Africans SC (Yanga) have received a major boost ahead of the new season after FIFA lifted the club’s transfer ban.
The Dar es Salaam-based giants are now free to register new players after successfully resolving the outstanding case that had led to the sanction.
The lifting of the ban comes at a crucial time for Yanga as they continue preparations for the upcoming campaign. With the restriction removed, the club can now proceed with completing transfer business and registering new signings to strengthen their squad.
Yanga have been active in the transfer market as they look to build on their domestic success and mount another strong challenge in both the Tanzania Premier League and CAF inter-club competitions.
The decision clears the way for the reigning league champions to finalize their recruitment plans without any further restrictions ahead of the new season.
