Dynamos hold four-day team bonding and interactive workshop

Power Dynamos Football Club has commenced a four-day team-bonding and interactive workshop focused on strengthening team cohesion, promoting mental wellness and enhancing institutional knowledge ahead of the 2026-27 season.

The workshop, which began today, July 14, 2026, at Ravens Country Club Hall in Nkana East of Kitwe is scheduled to conclude on Friday, July 17, 2026.

Delivering the keynote address, Club Vice-President, Ferdinand Menzu, called for unity, determination and teamwork as the Club prepares for continental football and other local competitions.

“We need to remain united and fight for one another. We are the Zambian champions, and we need to build on that success going forward,” he said.

He also emphasised the importance of remaining focused on the Club’s objectives throughout the upcoming campaign. “We have the CAF Champions League, the transitional league and other cup competitions ahead of us. We need to continue fighting, improving and breaking our own records,” he said.

Club Chief Executive Officer, Gibson Chaloba, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the Club’s governance structures, procedures and operational standards. The session was aimed at equipping players and members of staff with a better understanding of how the institution operates.

And mental health specialist Gillan Banda delivered a presentation on mental health and stress management. His session covered practical, real-life situations and provided players with tools to help them manage pressure, remain resilient and maintain focus both on and off the pitch.

In his closing remarks for Day One, Club Executive Committee Member, Brian Chishimba, thanked the team for their active involvement and encouraged them to remain committed throughout the workshop.

The workshop forms part of the Club’s preparations for the 2026/27 season, during which Power Dynamos will compete in domestic competitions and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League.
