Ghana FA Cup winners Nations FC will begin their 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup campaign against Malian outfit FC Diarra following the official preliminary round draw conducted by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The Ghanaian club was paired with FC Diarra in the first preliminary round, with the two-legged tie set to determine who advances to the next stage of the competition.
Should Nations FC overcome the Malian side, they will face the winner of the clash between AS Zam and ASKO de Kara in the second preliminary round. Victory in that tie would secure a place in the group stage of the 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup.
The draw presents Nations FC with an opportunity to make a strong impression on the continental stage as they seek to progress into the lucrative group phase of Africa’s second-tier club competition.
