Super Eagles Set Up Antalya Camp Ahead of Iran, Jordan Friendlies

Nigeria’s senior national team, the Super Eagles, will officially open camp in Antalya, Turkey today as preparations begin for upcoming international friendlies against Iran and Jordan.

According to the team’s media officer, Promise Efoghe, members of the technical crew and backroom staff have already arrived in Istanbul, with plans to proceed to their training base in Antalya by noon.

Efoghe confirmed that invited players are expected to start arriving at the camp later today, marking the beginning of full preparations for the double-header fixtures.

The team’s head coach, Éric Chelle, has named a 23-man squad for the friendlies as he continues to assess his options and build team cohesion.

The three-time African champions will first face Iran in a friendly encounter scheduled for Friday, in what is expected to be a crucial test for the squad.

Four days later, the Super Eagles will take on Jordan, rounding off their international window engagements.

The matches are expected to provide Chelle with an opportunity to evaluate player combinations, test tactical approaches, and strengthen the squad ahead of future competitive fixtures.

With a blend of experienced internationals and emerging talents anticipated in camp, attention will be on how quickly the team adapts and gels under the current technical setup.

As preparations gather momentum in Antalya, fans will be eager to see how the Super Eagles perform against two contrasting opponents in what promises to be an important preparatory phase.
