Ghanaian Ocran reveals excitement after joining Gor Mahia

Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia have completed the signing of Ghanaian defensive midfielder Ebenezer Ocran, who has put pen to paper on a two-year deal and the towering enforcer has already set his sights on bringing more silverware to the “Home of Champions.”

The lanky midfield general arrives with a reputation for tenacity and composure and in his first interview with the club, Ocran did not hide his delight at joining K’Ogalo.

“I am excited to be part of this family. I am here to support the club and help achieve more success,” the Ghanaian told the club’s media team.

At first glance, Ocran cuts an imposing figure in the centre of the park, but it is his footballing intelligence and work ethic that have convinced the technical bench to secure his services.

He says he is fully aware of the weight of the famous green and white jersey and is prepared to give everything for the faithful.

“I am ready to be part of this family. I am ready to work hard. It feels exciting when I am playing good football, committed and achieve more success,”

With years of experience under his belt, Ocran is expected to add significant steel and stability. His ability to break up opposition attacks and distribute play calmly from deep will provide a vital shield for the backline while freeing up the club’s attacking talents to flourish further forward.

The midfielder’s arrival signals the intent to strengthen the spine as we prepare for the challenges ahead, both domestically and on the continental stage.
