The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has finalized the refereeing crew that will officiate the upcoming match between the Moroccan national team and its Gabonese counterpart, as part of the first round of qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
CAF’s Referees Committee has selected South African referee Tom Abongil to officiate this match between the Moroccan and Gabonese national teams.
The match is scheduled to take place at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat on Friday evening, starting at 7:00 p.m., marking the start of the national team’s campaign in the continental qualifiers.
The national team is looking to get off to a strong start in these qualifiers, capitalizing on home-field advantage and crowd support against Gabon.
