Algeria: More Fear Than Harm for Anis Hadj Moussa

Anis Hadj Moussa has withdrawn from the Algerian national team’s match due to an injury, the Algerian Football Federation announced via its official channels.

The Feyenoord forward had already been on the bench as a precaution during the previous match.

Hadj Moussa will miss Algeria’s last two international matches due to an injury. He sustained a minor injury against Zambia during the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. After coming on as a substitute in the 70th minute, he scored a goal.

Although he was called up for the next match, he did not play as a precaution.

The nature of the injury to the key Feyenoord player and the length of his absence are unknown. The 24-year-old Algerian is off to an excellent start to the season.

Hadj Moussa has already scored five goals and provided one assist. The league will resume for the Rotterdam club on October 10 with a home game against AZ.
