Antoine Semenyo Reveals Tactical Shift to Become More Unpredictable

Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo has revealed that he is consciously working to make his attacking play less predictable by varying his movement and becoming more effective on both feet.

The Manchester City attacker admitted that reviewing footage of his performances has shown a tendency to rely heavily on his right foot, prompting him to diversify his approach in one-on-one situations.

“I feel sometimes when watching my clips I’m dominantly on my right foot so I try to change it up a little,” Semenyo explained.

The 26-year-old said mixing up his attacking options is key to keeping defenders guessing and creating more opportunities in the final third.

“Once I go down the line a couple times, in their head they think, ‘Am I going to go down the line again?’ and it’s then the opportunity to go the right,” he added.

Semenyo’s focus on refining the tactical side of his game reflects his determination to continue improving ahead of the new season. By becoming more unpredictable in possession, the Ghana international hopes to make an even greater impact for ManchesterCity as they prepare for the upcoming Premier League campaign.
