Highly-rated midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi has officially committed his international future to Morocco despite progressing through the youth ranks of France.
The Lille OSC youngster, regarded as one of the brightest midfield prospects in European football, will now represent the Moroccan national setup under coach Mohamed Ouahbi.
Bouaddi had been a regular figure in Franceโs youth teams, making his decision a significant boost for Morocco as the North African nation continues to attract elite dual-national talents. His choice further underlines the growing appeal and long-term project of the Atlas Lions following their recent rise on the international stage.
Moroccoโs ambitious football development continues to gather momentum, with Bouaddi becoming the latest young star to pledge allegiance to the 2022 World Cup semi-finalists as what many are calling the countryโs golden era rolls on.
