Bayern Munich secures Gabonese talent Bryan Meyo

Bryan Meyo, the 20-year-old Gabonese international forward, has just officially signed with the German club Bayern Munich.

Having come up through the ranks at Valencia and Lyon, Bryan Meyo is taking a monumental step in his young career.

Despite standout performances with the U19s and the Lyon reserves, where he sometimes wore the captain’s armband, the Montpellier native had not reached an agreement on a first professional contract in the Rhône region.

Free to sign wherever he wished, it was ultimately Bayern Munich that won the race, offering him a long-term contract running through June 2030.

The new Gabonese international, who has already been instrumental with the Panthers in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, will begin his journey with the reserve team in the Regionalliga (U23).
