Bradley Barcola named Champions League Player of the Week

Bradley Barcola has won UEFA’s Champions League Player of the Week award after scoring a hat-trick against LASK in a commanding 6-3 victory in Austria. The former Paris Saint-Germain forward delivered a standout performance as his team dominated the second matchday of the league phase.

The €145 million signing from PSG opened his goalscoring account for his new club in spectacular fashion. Nicoló Tresoldi of Club Brugge finished second after also scoring three goals against Inter Milan, while Harry Kane took third place after netting twice for Bayern Munich against Viking FK.

Lamine Yamal completed the top four after providing two assists in Barcelona’s 4-1 win over Galatasaray. However, Barcola claimed the spotlight with his clinical finishing, marking an impressive milestone in his Champions League campaign.
