Breakup between Eddie Nketiah and the Black Stars

Eddie Nketiah’s possible switch to Ghana is once again under threat, as hopes of him joining the Black Stars have faded despite renewed talks following Otto Addo’s dismissal.

Fate has dealt another blow to the center forward, who suffered a serious hamstring injury during a training session.

According to initial medical assessments, his season is already over, forcing him into a long period of rehabilitation away from the Premier League pitches.

This setback is a major blow to the Ghanaian Football Association, which saw him as the ideal offensive reinforcement to kick off a new era.

His application for sports naturalization has now been put on hold, leaving it up to the future head coach to resume discussions once the player has recovered.
