Transfer: Strasbourg eye €25 Million move for Caleb Yirenkyi

Strasbourg is continuing its strategy of strengthening its squad with young, high-potential players by targeting Caleb Yirenkyi, the versatile 20-year-old Ghanaian midfielder currently under contract with Nordsjaelland.

According to reports from Bold, confirmed by L’Équipe, Racing is actively working on signing the young player, who is capable of playing both as a defensive midfielder and a center back.

But the deal is expected to be costly. The Danish club is reportedly asking for at least 25 million euros, excluding bonuses, to release its Ghanaian international, who made a notable showing at the 2026 World Cup with four appearances for the Black Stars.

Strasbourg will, however, face competition from Porto and Coventry, who are also interested in the player.
