CAF Champions League final rocked by new spying controversy

A major controversy has erupted ahead of the CAF Champions League final between AS FAR and Mamelodi Sundowns after explosive accusations made by Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso.

During a press conference, the Portuguese tactician claimed that the Moroccan side had obtained a detailed wide-angle tactical video of his team shortly after their league clash against Kaizer Chiefs. According to Cardoso, the footage contained sensitive tactical information normally reserved for internal analysis by coaching staff.

The allegations have immediately intensified tensions before one of the most anticipated finals in African football. Wide-angle tactical videos are considered highly confidential because they reveal team positioning, movement patterns and defensive organization in great detail.

While Cardoso stopped short of publicly identifying the source behind the alleged leak, his comments have fueled major debate across the continent ahead of the first leg in Pretoria and the decisive return match in Rabat for the CAF Champions League
