Raphael Onyedika is set to begin a new chapter in his career after agreeing to join Eintracht Frankfurt from Club Brugge KV on a permanent transfer.
The Nigerian international midfielder has reached an agreement with the Bundesliga side on a long-term contract that will keep him at the club until 2031. The transfer package is reportedly worth €9 million, with additional performance-related bonuses included.
Onyedika, 25, is expected to undergo his medical examination before the move is officially completed.
The defensive midfielder joined Club Brugge in 2022 and played a key role in the Belgian club’s midfield, earning recognition for his physical presence, ball-winning ability, and composure in possession. His performances also helped him establish himself as a regular member of the Nigerian national team.
Eintracht Frankfurt view Onyedika as a valuable addition to strengthen their midfield options as they continue to build a competitive squad for domestic and European challenges.
Once the medical is successfully completed, the transfer will mark another major step in Onyedika’s European career, with the Nigerian midfielder preparing for a new challenge in Germany’s top flight.
