FUFA Super 8: Kitara, KCCA earn first leg advantage

KCCA and Kitara earned first leg advantages in the Fufa Super 8 with 2-1 and 4-0 wins over BUL and Police respectively at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo.

Charles Lwanga and Said Mayanja scored for the Kasasiro with Reagan Kalyowa scoring BUL’s consolation. The two sides will face on Friday August 7 in the return leg with BUL seeking to overturn the deficit.

Kitara’s huge win was courtesy of goals from Kabon Living, Patrick Kaddu, Emmanuel Wasswa and Jimmy Kalema. The return leg will be played on Thursday August 6 at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo.

Elsewhere, Marvin Oshaba scored a late equaliser as Maroons denied SC Villa after they got an early goal from Aslam Ssemakula in the first half.

The other one-all draw was between NEC and Entebbe UPPC with James Jarieko scoring for the Bugolobi based side before Julius Poloto netted from the spot early in the second half.

UPPC and Maroons will advance to the semis if they draw goalless in the return legs.
