Aduana Football Club have been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) over alleged breaches of the GFA Disciplinary Code, 2019, and the Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols, 2025.
The charges stem from Aduana’s Ghana Premier League encounter against Karela United FC, with the club facing allegations under Articles 16(1)(c), 16(1)(e) and 16(2)(f) of the GFA Disciplinary Code.
The club has also been charged with an alleged breach of Protocol 9(b) of the Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols, 2025. The allegations include a failure to ensure the safety and security of the visiting team and its officials, as well as inappropriate behaviour by some of the club’s supporters.
Aduana FC have been given until Wednesday, 23 September 2026, to respond to the charges and present their defence to the GFA.
The matter will now proceed through the appropriate disciplinary process, with any sanctions to be determined after the club’s response and consideration of the case.
