Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of Moroccan goalkeeper Abdelwadie Mourad as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
The 22 year old shot stopper joins the Ghanaian giants from Albanian side Basania FC and becomes the first Moroccan player in Asante Kotoko’s history.
Mourad’s arrival provides additional competition and depth in the goalkeeping department as the two time African champions prepare for the challenges ahead.
The young goalkeeper will now look to adapt to Ghanaian football and make his mark at one of Africa’s most decorated clubs.
