Medeama SC have completed the signing of Sudanese international goalkeeper Monged Abuzaid Salman on a two-year contract, strengthening their squad ahead of a demanding campaign that includes continental football.
Salman arrives in Tarkwa after attracting interest from Accra Hearts of Oak, who had opened talks with the goalkeeper but were forced to slow negotiations due to their ongoing administrative and financial challenges. The Phobians are yet to resolve a pending ban issue linked to outstanding debts, while also continuing their search for a new head coach ahead of the upcoming season.
Medeama moved decisively to secure the shot-stopper’s services, with the club keen to add depth and experience between the posts as they prepare for CAF competitions. Salman’s arrival is seen as a key addition, offering both quality and competition in the goalkeeping department.
