Algerian national team coach Ibrahim Hamdani said that their upcoming match against host Burundi in the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers will be difficult.
During a press conference held Monday, the national team coach stated: “We know the Burundi national team very well, and we’ve analyzed them thoroughly”
Ibrahim Hamdani added: “We’ve beaten Burundi before, but tomorrow’s match will be tough, especially since we’ll be facing our opponent on their home turf and in front of their fans.”
The former Marseille star emphasized: “The artificial turf won’t affect us, since our players have played on such surfaces before.”
It is worth noting that the Algerian national team secured a 3–1 victory in their first-round match against Zambia.
