Ibrahim Tanko Open to Black Stars Coaching Role

Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko has expressed his willingness to take charge of the Ghana national team should the opportunity arise.

The experienced Ghanaian coach says he would welcome the chance to lead the Black Stars if the authorities consider him the right candidate for the position.

“If the Black Stars coaching opportunity comes and the authorities believe I’m the right man for the job, why not?” Tanko said.

Tanko, who has built a reputation as one of Ghana’s experienced coaches, is currently focused on his responsibilities at Medeama SC but remains open to serving the national team.

His comments come amid continued discussions over the future direction of the Black Stars and the search for the right technical leadership to guide the team.
