Ghana international Jordan Ayew has revealed that the efforts of Sheffield United’s management and head coach played a key role in his decision to join the Championship club.
The experienced forward, who turns 35 on Friday, has completed his move to the Blades as he begins a new chapter in English football.
Speaking about the transfer, Ayew praised the club for working quickly to make the deal happen.
“The manager and club made a great effort to make me come as quick as possible,” Ayew said.
Ayew brings a wealth of experience to Sheffield United, having spent the majority of his career in English football with clubs including Aston Villa, Swansea City and Crystal Palace.
His arrival is expected to provide valuable experience and leadership to a Sheffield United squad that has made a difficult start to the Championship campaign.
The Ghanaian forward will now look to make an immediate impact as the Blades seek to climb the league table and mount a stronger challenge in the months ahead.
