South African attacker Relebohile Mofokeng marked his first UEFA Europa League start for Royale Union Saint-Gilloise with a goal against Viktoria Plzen.
The former Orlando Pirates star was named in Union SG’s starting XI for their Europa League clash in the Czech Republic, earning his first start in the competition since joining the Belgian side.
Mofokeng made the occasion even more memorable by finding the back of the net, registering his first Europa League goal and continuing his impressive start to life in Belgium.
The 21-year-old has now scored four goals in seven appearances for Union SG in all competition, underlining his growing influence since making the move from Orlando Pirates.
