The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is reportedly set to appoint Black Queens head coach Kim Lars Björkegren, Ibrahim Tanko and Godwin Attram as members of the interim technical team of the Black Stars ahead of Ghana’s double-header against Somalia in November.
The trio are expected to oversee preparations for the crucial fixtures as Ghana seeks to maintain its competitive momentum on the international stage.
Björkegren, who currently leads Ghana’s senior women’s national team, brings his coaching experience to the interim setup, while Tanko and Attram add their respective technical expertise to the backroom team.
Their reported appointment comes at a pivotal time for the Black Stars, with the team seeking stability and direction ahead of the November assignments.
The double-header against Somalia will present the interim technical team with an opportunity to organise the squad, establish its tactical approach and guide the players through the two encounters.
Further details regarding the division of responsibilities among the three coaches and the composition of the wider technical staff are yet to be confirmed.
