Despite Marseille’s 2–1 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in Le Classique, Bruno Genesio praised Amine Harit and reaffirmed his confidence in the Moroccan midfielder. The OM coach values Harit’s tactical intelligence and his ability to operate in different positions, but he now wants the Morocco international to increase his offensive impact.
“He is important to the team, thanks to his tactical understanding, whether he plays out wide or behind the striker. Amine needs to be a bit more decisive now if he wants to reach the next level. He is having a very good start to the season,” Genesio said at a press conference.
Genesio’s message gives Harit a clear target for the rest of the 2026–2027 campaign. While the Marseille coach appreciates his performances and versatility, he expects the 29-year-old to improve his statistics and make a greater difference in the final third as OM look to turn their difficult start around.
