Newly crowned Miss Cameroon Maëllys Ngo Mboui visited the headquarters of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT) on Monday alongside a delegation from the Miss Cameroon Committee (COMICA). FECAFOOT president welcomed the group during a friendly meeting that brought together representatives of Cameroonian football and national beauty.
The visit gave Maëllys Ngo Mboui and the COMICA ambassadors the chance to admire the prestigious Africa Cup of Nations trophy won by the Indomitable Lionesses. The delegation viewed the trophy up close and discovered the history and significance behind one of the most important symbols of Cameroonian women’s football.
The meeting also highlighted the strong legacy of the Indomitable Lionesses on the continental stage. Beyond its sporting value, the trophy represents the excellence and achievements of Cameroonian women’s football.
The visit therefore offered Maëllys Ngo Mboui and the COMICA ambassadors a symbolic connection with one of the country’s proudest sporting successes.
