Ghana winger Mohammed Fuseini has received a late call-up to the Black Stars squad ahead of the team’s upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
The 24-year-old Derby County attacker has been drafted into the squad to replace Mohammed Kudus, who has withdrawn from the team ahead of the upcoming international fixtures.
Fuseini’s call-up comes after an encouraging weekend for the forward, who scored his first goal for Derby County in their latest fixture. His recent club form has now earned him an opportunity to join Carlos Queiroz’s squad.
The winger is expected to join the Black Stars camp in Accra as preparations continue for Ghana’s AFCON qualifying campaign.
Fuseini’s inclusion adds another attacking option to the squad, with the former Union Saint-Gilloise forward now set to compete for a place in the team during the upcoming qualifiers.
