Morocco U-23 vs Equatorial Guinea Friendly Cancelled

The friendly between Morocco’s U-23 team and Equatorial Guinea, scheduled for September 26 in Rabat, has been cancelled by the organizing committee.

Instead, the U-23 national team will continue its preparation program by playing two friendly matches in October.

In the first match, they will face Mali on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at the Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat, and in the second match, they will face the Tanzanian national team on Monday, October 5, 2026, at the Sports Village Stadium in Tangier.

These two friendly matches are part of the preparatory program for the Under-23 national team in preparation for upcoming competitions, and first and foremost the two matches against Ethiopia scheduled for this coming November, as part of the first round of qualifiers for the African Nations Cup for Under-23s, to be held in Egypt.

Through these preparatory matches, the national team’s coaching staff aims to continue preparing for upcoming official matches and to assess the readiness of the national players before entering the continental qualifiers.
