At 34, Neymar is preparing one final push this summer to make Brazil’s 2026 World Cup squad.
For now, his chances remain slim, although Carlo Ancelotti is watching him closely. The former Paris Saint-Germain player, often injured, has 3 goals and 3 assists in 6 games for Santos this season.
A club he may soon leave. Overnight, The Athletic revealed that Ney and his entourage are in talks with Cincinnati.
The Major League Soccer franchise, which had courted Thomas Muller in 2025, is now making a move for the Brazilian star, who is under contract with Santos through December 2026.
The American club and the Neymar camp are only in the early stages of talks, but they are discussing a transfer.
There is still a long way to go to finalize the deal, especially since Cincinnati does not have a designated player spot and will therefore need to make room to accommodate Neymar.
