Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku has thrown his full support behind Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz, highlighting the veteran tactician’s elite pedigree as a key asset ahead of the FIFA World Cup.
Speaking on the Portuguese manager’s credentials, Okraku pointed to Queiroz’s involvement at some of the biggest institutions in world football, underscoring the experience he brings to the national team setup.
“Carlos Queiroz is part of the ‘Galáctico’ story at Real Madrid and also part of the history at Old Trafford. He has coached top players including the Neville brothers and David Beckham,” Okraku noted.
The GFA President’s remarks come at a crucial time as Ghana intensifies preparations for the global showpiece, with expectations steadily building around the team’s potential.
Queiroz, who has built a reputation for discipline and tactical organisation, is widely regarded as one of the most experienced managers on the international stage.
