Prince Owusu Scores 12th MLS Goal as CF Montréal Beat Columbus Crew

Ghana international Prince Owusu continued his impressive scoring form in Major League Soccer, finding the net as CF Montréal secured a 2-1 victory over Columbus Crew.

Owusu opened the scoring early in the contest, marking his 12th MLS goal of the season and once again demonstrating his importance to Montréal’s attack.

Noah Streit later found the decisive goal after the break as CF Montréal completed the comeback to claim all three points.

The latest strike also saw Owusu enter the history books at CF Montréal. The Ghanaian has now become only the third player in the club’s history to score at least 25 goals across a two season span, joining club legends Marco Di Vaio and Ignacio Piatti.

Owusu’s numbers this MLS season underline his importance to the Canadian side. The forward has made 19 appearances, scoring 12 goals and providing six assists.

His continued goalscoring form has made him one of the standout Ghanaian players in MLS this season, with his latest effort further strengthening his impact for CF Montréal.
