Ranchers Bees Football Club have announced the appointment of Maa’ji Mohammed as their new Head Coach, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the Kaduna-based club as they seek to strengthen their technical team and improve their competitive performance.
Mohammed joins Ranchers Bees from Jigawa Golden Stars, a club competing in Nigeria’s second-tier league, where he had a brief stint before securing the move to Kaduna.
His appointment brings valuable experience from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), having previously served as Head Coach of Niger Tornadoes for two seasons.
During his time with Niger Tornadoes, Mohammed gained experience managing the demands of top-flight Nigerian football, a background that could prove important as he takes charge of Ranchers Bees and works towards achieving the club’s objectives.
His familiarity with the Nigerian football landscape, particularly the challenges associated with league competition, is expected to be an asset as he settles into his new role.
The decision to appoint Mohammed represents an opportunity for Ranchers Bees to build on their technical direction under an experienced coach who has worked with clubs at different levels of Nigerian football.
Attention will now turn to how quickly the new manager adapts to his responsibilities, assesses the available squad and implements his football philosophy.
Mohammed is expected to focus on organising the team, improving performances and establishing a competitive structure capable of delivering positive results for the Kaduna-based side.
Although the club’s announcement signals the start of a new era, the success of the appointment will ultimately depend on the team’s performances and its ability to meet its targets in the ongoing campaign.
For Mohammed, the move also presents an opportunity to consolidate his coaching career after spells with Niger Tornadoes and Jigawa Golden Stars.
As Ranchers Bees begin this new phase, supporters will be eager to see the impact of their new coach and the direction he brings to the club.
