Salzburg Reject Third Brugge Bid for Baidoo as Talks Continue

RB Salzburg have turned down a third offer from Club Brugge for Ghanaian youngster Edmund Baidoo, with the latest proposal understood to be worth around €10 million in total.

Despite the rejection, negotiations between the two clubs remain ongoing, and the deal is far from collapsed as Brugge continue to push for the winger’s signature.

Baidoo, regarded as one of Ghana’s emerging talents, is believed to be keen on making the switch to the Belgian side. The player’s determination to join Blauw-Zwart is expected to play a key role as discussions progress.

Club Brugge, unwilling to walk away from the deal, are now exploring alternative structures to meet Salzburg’s valuation. This could include performance-related add-ons or revised payment terms in an effort to reach a breakthrough.

Salzburg, however, remain firm in their stance, with the Austrian club under no immediate pressure to sell and intent on securing a deal that reflects Baidoo’s long-term potential.

With the player eager for the move and Brugge continuing to negotiate, the coming days could prove decisive in determining whether a compromise can be reached.
