Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Communications Director Ibrahim Sannie Daara has urged the GFA to give Godwin Attram and Desmond Ofei the opportunity to lead the Black Stars in their upcoming matches against Somalia.
Sannie Daara believes the two coaches should be entrusted with the team for the fixtures, allowing the football governing body sufficient time to identify a suitable long term technical team to oversee Ghana’s rebuilding process.
“Godwin Attram and Desmond Ofei must be given the opportunity to take charge of the Somalia games. The GFA can then take its time to find the right coaches to build a team for the future,” he said.
His proposal comes amid discussions over the Black Stars’ technical direction and the need to establish a stable coaching structure. He believes giving the duo temporary responsibility could provide the GFA with the breathing space needed to make a considered decision on the team’s long term leadership.
