Stellenbosch FC signs Sinoxolo Kwayiba from Chippa United

Stellenbosch Football Club have announced the signing of South Africa international striker Sinoxolo Kwayiba on a permanent transfer from Chippa United.

Kwayiba has signed a long-term contract with Stellenbosch FC after completing a transfer from Chippa United, where he scored 16 goals in 51 league appearances, either side of a spell with Orlando Pirates.

The 26-year-old is also a full international for South Africa with five caps to his name. He previously represented Bafana Bafana at the 2024 COSAFA Cup and scored his first goal for his country in a friendly win over Mozambique last year.

“Sinoxolo is an exciting player who we have admired for some time, so we are delighted to welcome him to the Club,” Stellenbosch FC CEO, Rob Benadie, said.

“He is a proven goalscorer and match-winner who has consistently displayed his ability to compete at the highest level, and we believe he will be a valuable addition to our squad.”
