Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering deploying Ghana international Mohammed Kudus in a more central role once he returns to full fitness, as the club looks set to strengthen its options on the wings.
The change in position could allow Kudus to operate closer to the striker and make greater use of his creativity, ball carrying and ability to drive through central areas. The Ghanaian has experience playing both as an attacking midfielder and winger.
With Spurs expected to add more wide attackers during the transfer window, manager Roberto De Zerbi could have greater flexibility in how he uses Kudus. The 26 year old has also recently stepped up his rehabilitation, with reports indicating that he has returned to ball work as he continues his recovery.
Kudus joined Tottenham from West Ham United in a Β£55 million deal in 2025 and recorded two goals and five assists in the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
A move into a central attacking position could therefore offer Kudus a fresh role at Spurs, particularly if the club succeeds in adding the additional wingers it is pursuing.
