According to a source close to Stade de Reims, the English club Bolton took the plunge this Thursday morning by submitting an initial official offer to sign Ivorian forward Oumar Diakite.
While Bolton’s proposal demonstrates concrete interest, competition across the Channel is expected to be fierce.
In England, Queens Park Rangers (QPR) and Preston are also closely monitoring the Ivorian international’s situation, drawn to his athletic build and potential for growth.
